14-Day PSD / SET Training Courses:
Anyone serious about operating as part of a PSD/SET (Bodyguard) Team in any high-threat environment should seriously consider attending our bespoke High-Risk Environment PSD/SET Training Course.

This course is ideal for you whether you are someone looking for a career change, former military, law enforcement or even currently working the circuit in a medium-level environment close protection role.

Entering into level five environments requires you to possess more advanced bodyguard skills, weapons handling skills and operational, situational, tactical and area of operation (AO) awareness. You must also learn to understand how to work with and deal with your principals.
Learn all the necessary fire and maneouvre tactics, contact drills and team formations associated with escort teams.
Teaching You The Relevant Tactics & Procedures:
We are highly-experienced in the instruction of Weapon Normal Safety Procedures (NSP's), weapon handling and stoppage drills on both primary and secondary weapon systems. Make no mistake, this course has been designed by those of us operating in these environments. We know exactly what the companies who are recruiting for contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan etc are looking for in security contractors.

Due to the high risk of firearms related incidents that severely damage their reputations and risk loss of contracts such as those that have gripped the headlines in 2007 regarding unlawful shootings by PSD Teams, Private Security Companies (PSC's) are looking for well-trained, level-headed operators, not Rambo-wannabes.

Having an in-depth understanding of relevant the tactics, protocols and procedures and knowing when, where and how to implement them is a much sought after ability.
              Current Training, Tactics & Procedures:
We will ensure that you are fully-trained and current with all the training, tactics and procedures (TTP's) used today. Instilling in you the discipline to know when and when not to use your firearms correctly observing the escalation of force rules.

Our course has been written by actual PSD, AES, SET Team Leaders and Operators who have been operating in high-threat environments since 2003 and continue to do so. We are operational in areas such as South America, Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan and certain parts of SE Asia.

Our PSD/SET Training Course will fully school you in all these areas and build upon any existing skills you may possess.
We school you in all associated vehicle drills, tactics and procedures including reaction to contacts and ambushes and cross decking form incapacitated vehicles.
Why Choose ESTS For Your Training:
Understanding what makes a professional PSD/SET team member and knowing you have reached the peak of professionalism is an extremely rewarding position to be in. Professional, well-trained PSD/SET team members are the highest trained bodyguards in the world. By operating in these completely different, level five environments, we are able to bring our wealth of knowledge to you on the PSD/SET course which will greatly assist you in remaining not only proactive and reactive, but also adaptive in your assessment and handling of the situations you find yourself in.

This will be your greatest strength - to assess and make an educated and informed decision - this keeps you alive. Many of the PSD courses run by our competitors follow one set format, unfortunately level five environments by nature, do not.

Make no mistake, you will find yourself in hostile situations working at this level and by learning from our experiences you will be better informed and prepared to face them.
Over 50 Theory & Practical Subjects:
The course covers over 50 PSD-relevant subjects in theory and practical sessions. The hours are long but we believe in keeping the course relaxed due your need to fully absorb and readily recall what we are teaching you.

There will be plenty of time for sleep deprivation when you are operational as a qualified PSD/SET Operator. There are no military-style beastings on bump-you-in-the-middle-of-the-night exercises on our courses, just the daily unarmed combat sessions to get the pulse racing a little and assess / improve fitness levels.
