ESTS International Course
Instructors are from a diverse security background which
enables us to bring a wealth of live experience and relevant
knowledge to our courses. Our instructors are current with
all training, tactics and procedures in use in Iraq and
Afghanistan today. Our core training team are listed below.
We also bring in guest speakers on a regular basis.
SR - Former Royal Marines Commando (1991 - 1998),
operational in Comacchio Group RM, NATO Security Detachment,
and finally 42 Commando RM, SR is also a Certified Master
Antiterrorism Specialist (CMAS) through the Anti Terrorism
Accreditation Board (ATAB) in the USA. A certified Combat
Life Saver (CLS) through the US Army TF 3rd Medical Command
School of Combat Medicine. SR is a CQB specialist, and
certificated Surveillance professional. SR is the
International Operations Director of Executive Security &
Training Services Ltd and Operations Director for Pt. ESTS
Consultants & Services (SE Asia). Responsible for the design
and development of the course content and the Senior
Instructor on all courses. He has been operational in various medium to
high-threat environments around the world such as SE Asia,
Afghanistan and Iraq since 2003 as an RLT Team Member, PSD
Team Leader and AES Team
Leader for various Private Security Companies. SR is
responsible for the training of over 150 Local Guard Force
members in Iraq. SR remains in an active role contracting to
PSC's operating in Iraq and Afghanistan.
SK - SK is a MSc in
Security & Risk Management. MSc Security & Risk Management,
BSc (Hons) Exercise & Health Sciences, Postgraduate Diploma
in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Lead Auditor in
Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Environmental Health
& Safety Management Systems (ISO 14001) & Occupational
Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001). SK also
possesses several US certifications. After spending 10 years
on the 'X' department who are responsible for
anti-terrorism, firearms and tactical aid SK moved into the
Close Protection Sector. Since October 2003 has provided
close personal protection to clients in Iraq. SK is
currently employed as the Regional Security Manager directly
responsible for all the Clients teams in Northern Iraq. SK
is responsible for all the security and safety of employees
of this US-based company. In this post he has provided a
thorough risk, security & safety management program through
risk assessments, crisis planning, security and safety
advice, emergency action and preparedness plans, site
surveys, audits and intelligence gathering to mitigate
threats over the last 4 years. SK brings a wealth and
in-depth knowledge and real-life experiences to ESTS
International.
DC - Recently
promoted to Assistant Operations Director for Executive
Security & Training Services Ltd, DC has spent many years
working towards the development of the company. He has been
active in Close Protection as a CPPO in his early days, and
more recently as part of a PSD Team operational in
Afghanistan and then SE Asia for ESTS. DC is an integral
member of the company and his role in operations has see him
assist in high-level meetings in several countries as a
representative for the company. DC is also a certified
Antiterrorism Specialist (CAS) through the Anti Terrorism
Accreditation Board (ATAB) in the USA.
DB - Assistant
Training Director for Executive Security & Training Services
Ltd. a former Royal Signals Operator and time served Team
Leader/Detachment Commander on various operational tours as
part of a Spearhead Battalion. DB served with Special Forces
as part of the DET in Northern Ireland. Trained by the
Center for Advanced Security Studies in Florida. DB has
Operated in Iraq since 2005, has been part of a SET Team,
and RLT Team as 2ic and Team Leader. Currently still
employed on operational status in Iraq. Fluid in the
knowledge of up-to-date and ever-evolving Training, Tactics
& Procedures. Chief Trainer for Local Iraqi Nationals and
Kurdish Nationals that are employed and utilised
as Operators within the teams, in all weapon systems, first
aid - trauma management and current TTPs. A thorough ground
truth knowledge of Southern and Northern Provinces.
A '2 Mags' R - A
highly-experienced and qualified Dog Handler/Trainer. AR
spent many years as a Door Supervisor and then entered the
world of Close Protection as a PSD
Operative. He was contracted through ESTS International as
part of a PSD Security Team in Afghanistan providing both
static and mobile security for our management personnel
there. AR has worked for twenty years as a Bodyguard to many
Celebrities, Sporting Personalities and Private Businessmen
/ Women around the world. His knowledge of security and
close protection tactics and procedures is excellent and he
brings his extensive experience to the company.
AR -
SIA
licensed female CPPO actively working in roles throughout the
United Kingdom and Europe. AR is Certified and trained to carry
small arms in Europe and the United States. AR was a former UK
Training Manager and course trainer for a major Close Protection
training company where she set up training camps and oversaw all the
training and supervised all trainers throughout courses. She
Hold a Medics in Remote Areas (MIRA) qualification and is a
highly-trained and experienced Surveillance Operative which
is currently her main area of speciality.
